Synopsis

Aby Tagbo and Jérémie Lecomte, high school students from Seine-Saint-Denis, should never have entered IPSI, one of the most prestigious elite schools in France, which trains the country’s political and economic leaders... But thanks to lateral admissions, they’ve gained entry to IPSI and, beyond that, to a whole new world. Their families, friends, and relationships are all shaken and questioned by the social journey they embark upon. When their neighborhood ignites, swept by a wave of violence, Aby and Jérémie must face the harsh contradictions their position as newcomers stirs up—within themselves and around them—and learn to embrace who they are. All of who they are.
